September is here! As we all settle back into the routines of school, it is time to get excited about all things FALL! There is something about the shift in the crispness of the air and the beautiful golden colors that make me want to grab a cozy sweater and a picnic basket and head out for some quality time with Mother Nature. A little dose of quiet really feels good–and it is what Drew and I found as we explored Stroud Preserve on Friday evening.
We had passed Stroud Preserve daily when traveling to Drew’s sound therapy in Glenn Mills and were often curious about it. It definitely did NOT disappoint! Especially because we experienced it right as the sun was going down. The landscape was bathed in radiating, golden hues. We had an absolute blast climbing huge hills, skipping rocks in the creek and looking for birds and butterflies. It is a great place to spend time either with your family or alone and for that reason, I had planned on shooting mini-sessions there this fall! Unfortunately, I found out that the photography fee was quite expensive…so we had to change plans. Drew will bring his binoculars and we will keep looking for another place! Stay tuned!

Angie
