The first pictures I ever took as a photographer were of Kim and Penelope. It is crazy to think that she could barely sit up on her own–and now she’s talking and running around sporting her adorable pig tails!
They grow so FAST!
When they arrived for their hour-long session, Kim had a variety of outfit choices and a box of donuts! Anyone with small children knows that there is a very important parenting secret–ESPECIALLY when it comes to getting pictures taken: Well-placed bribes.
We started off with their matching “Mama” and “Mini” baseball tees…and matching leopard shoes. Kim had the shirts custom-made by Sydney Marshall. They couldn’t have turned out any cuter! You can check her out here:

As is usual for littles and the camera, it usually take a little time for them to warm up! Miss Penelope was definitely warming up within 10 minutes and was super excited to explore the house and find my “big kids”. We decided it was the PERFECT time for an outfit change! Kim had a gorgeous dress that she actually word to her baby shower. Even though it technically is a maternity dress–it looked beautiful on her and was complemented by the backdrop! And P’s was a sweet blush pink and was flowy and whimsical!
She was so fascinated by the window…she was looking for a cat!
Miss P was not having the standard sitting still and smiling…so we did some twirling, tickling and we called in reinforcements…
*Cue the Dunkin*
Once we had a little donut…we were revitalized and ready to rock some more smiles!!
We had so much fun during the session and even turned on some dancing tunes to keep the energy high and the mood giggly!
These Mommy and Me sessions are a great way to bond and have fun while preserving memories. Time flies so fast, especially when we are in the trenches of motherhood. Sometimes it is difficult to slow down with the ever-growing “To Do” list and the never-ending pile of laundry. From cooking, to picking up toys, to baths to bedtime stories, I see you, Mama! You are doing a great job–but are rarely able to be IN a photo with your babies.
This is the perfect opportunity!
These can be done as full, hour-long sessions or we will be doing “Mommy and Me Minis” on April 30 and May 1, 2021–with delivery on Mother’s Day!
Thank you, Kim and Penelope, for letting me be a part of your special bond. I have so enjoyed getting to document the different stages and ages of your family and can’t wait to continue watching you grow!
In gratitude,
Angie
