I have had the joy of photographing Miss Addison on a number of occasions--from family photos to birthday shoots and a few sprinkled in between! When it was time to come up with her birthday session to celebrate her turning FIVE, glitter seemed like the perfect option!
Addy has such an amazing and big personality, which makes photo sessions (and just being around her in general) A LOT of fun! She is never short on ideas for new poses and is really up for anything when it comes to my ideas too!
We loved getting to capture all of the twinkly details, big laughs, and sweet smiles during her session! And she was quite the trooper when it was sticking to EVERYTHING (including her fingers and toes)! We learned quickly that it also, consequently, likes to stick to your lips. I am so glad we got the biodegradable glitter for this very reason!
Any girl knows that a signature shot is a necessity and Addy coined “the jump shot” as her own during her very first session with me. Ever since then, we ALWAYS include it in our sessions–and the glitter session was no different! It was definitely her idea to add the throwing of glitter into the mix. And my daughters enjoyed sprinkling “fairy” dust as Addy jumped and performed some epic twirls!
Thank you Addison, for being so vibrantly YOU! And thank you, Amy, for trusting my vision and finding the most beautiful dress for Addy to wear during her session (and for taking her advice when she insisted on the gorgeous headband!!) I am so lucky to have your family in my life! And I look forward to many more sessions ahead!
