When Julie first messaged me about doing an outdoor mini session in December, I was totally on-board! We had chatted back and forth about places to go, and we were both thrilled at the thought of doing a session at a Christmas tree farm. This proved to be more daunting of a task than either of us had imagined.
After calling and messaging nearly EVERY tree farm in our area and being turned down due to the busyness of the season or being charged large sums of money to take pictures with the trees–we had almost given up. About a week before the shoot, I was talking about the difficulties with my mother-in-law, Donna, and she had a light-bulb moment. She reached out to a friend whose home is nestled into a beautiful part of Chester Springs. They have a tree farm positioned at the front of their property along with some gorgeous views of rolling hills and stone farmhouses. You can’t imagine my excitement when they said we were more than welcome to have a session there!
It turned out that it was the perfect place to take Julie’s holiday maternity photos. This being my first maternity shoot, I was beyond excited when she told me that she’d found a red gown to wear while capturing the beauty of her pregnancy. It looked absolutely stunning against the evergreen and holly backdrops.
Julie, thank you for the privilege of getting to know you and photographing your beautiful smile and cute baby bump! I know you are going to be an incredible mom to your sweet little girl!
Warmly,Angie
